Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Server, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high‑quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the guest experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling procedures. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong background in food service and hospitality. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a team-oriented setting while also being self‑motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
