Benny’s Barbecue – Newmarket, ON Benny’s Barbecue is hiring a Full-Time Crew Member to join our team. This role is perfect for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in serving great food and providing excellent customer service. ⸻ Position Details - Job Type: Full-Time - Compensation: $20–$22/hour (based on experience) - Hours: 35+ hours per week - Schedule: Weekday and/or weekend shifts available - Growth Opportunity: Opportunity to take on more hours and grow within the team ⸻ Availability Requirements - Must provide at least five (5) days of availability per week - Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) is required - Must be available for early mornings or evening shifts, depending on scheduling - Ability to cover shifts when needed is a plus ⸻ Key Responsibilities - Assist with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, plating) - Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is prepared and served consistently - Keep workstations, prep areas, and kitchen equipment clean and organized - Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed - Restock ingredients and supplies during service - Take out trash and maintain sanitation and food safety standards - Support kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods - Provide friendly and efficient customer service when needed ⸻ Required Experience - Basic kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required - Customer service experience is an asset - Willingness to learn and follow kitchen procedures ⸻ What We’re Looking For - Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Positive attitude and strong work ethic - Comfortable taking direction and learning recent skills - Passion for food and teamwork ⸻ Physical Requirements - Ability to stand for extended periods - Ability to lift up to 70 lbs - Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment ⸻ How to Apply Please email your resume (or a short message about your availability and experience) to Apply only if you meet the availability requirements listed above.
