Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Maintain equipment in positive working order and report any issues to management. Qualifications Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Solid communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation is a plus.
