Part-time Cleaner (Newmarket)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Part-time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various residences, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time work and provides an opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of residential properties. Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities - Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces - Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas - Ensure trash is collected and disposed of properly - Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely - Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly - Adhere to company standards for cleanliness and sanitation Experience - Previous experience in cleaning, commercial and residential cleaning, is a plus but not mandatory - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Solid attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly - Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a clean and safe environment while working flexible hours.
