Job Title: Sterilization Technician – Maternity Leave Contract Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (18-month maternity leave coverage) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM Anticipated Start Date: Early July 6, 2026 Location: Southlake Otolaryngology Associates 581 Davis Drive, Newmarket, ON Job Description We are a Very busy Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist office seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team on an 18-month maternity leave contract. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and efficient clinical setting while supporting physicians and administrative staff. Please note: We are a private practice and are not a part of Southlake Hospital Key Responsibilities - Sterilization and reprocessing of medical instruments in accordance with infection control standards - Cleaning and preparing exam and procedure rooms - Stocking rooms with medical and office supplies - Ordering and maintaining inventory of medical supplies - Booking minor ADC procedures - Sending referrals and completing follow-ups - Assisting with general clinic flow and administrative tasks as needed - Performing additional duties as required Qualifications & Skills - Experience in a medical office or sterilization/reprocessing role preferred - Experience with EMR(Accuro) is an asset - Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices is an asset - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Comfortable balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities What We Offer - Supportive and collaborative team environment - Consistent weekday schedule (no evenings or weekends) - On-site parking - Opportunity to gain experience in a specialty medical practice How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter.
