Event Security Guard (Niagara Falls)

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and professional Event Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during a scheduled event in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Event Dates: May 22–23, 2026 The ideal candidate will maintain a strong professional presence, demonstrate excellent observational skills, and respond effectively to security incidents. This role is essential in maintaining a secure and controlled environment and preventing loss or damage during the event. Responsibilities - Monitor event premises through patrols and surveillance to identify potential security threats or safety hazards. - Control access points by verifying credentials and managing guest lists to prevent unauthorized entry. - Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including providing assistance or contacting emergency services as needed. - Conduct thorough inspections of bags, equipment, and attendees when necessary to prevent prohibited items from entering the venue. - Maintain a visible security presence to deter misconduct and ensure crowd control. - Document incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with event staff and law enforcement when required. Requirements - Valid Security Guard License. - Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, or related security fields is preferred. - Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly. - Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with attendees, staff, and emergency responders. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. - Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform patrols as needed. - Must be at least 18 years old.
