Required Skills & Experience Must-Have: ● Experience Level: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in virtualization and cloud infrastructure management ● VMware NSX Expertise: Working knowledge of VMware NSX-V and NSX-T with vCloud Director for multitenant environments ● Migration Experience: Proven NSX-V to NSX-T migration experience in production environments (mandatory requirement) ● Automation Proficiency: Hands-on automation experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similar), orchestration tools, and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks ● Network Virtualization: Robust understanding of network virtualization concepts, SDN architecture, and virtual networking principles ● Cloud Infrastructure: Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure management, vCloud Director, and multitenant setting administration ● Problem-Solving: Solid analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with ability to resolve complex technical challenges ● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences Nice-to-Have: ● OpenShift Experience: Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes container orchestration platforms ● VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x: Experience with VCF 9.x implementation and management ● Advanced Certifications: VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or higher certifications in NSX or vCloud Director ● Additional Technologies: Experience with vSAN, vRealize Automation, or other VMware ecosystem products ● Security Knowledge: Understanding of network security, micro segmentation, and security policy implementation ● LAN & WAN Technologies: Understanding of TCP/IP based LAN and WAN technologies including routing and switching.
