Position Overview The Master of Data Analytics program invites applications for sessional instructor positions available for the Summer (July) academic term. Representatives will deliver course content on a hybrid schedule, teaching on‑site for a minimum of two days per week depending on the schedule. Per course rate: $7,200 (paid in installments). Academic Term: Summer 2026 (July 6 – September 20). Mode of Delivery: Hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures and instructional content across multiple delivery modes (in‑person, online, or hybrid) to create an inclusive, dynamic learning environment.
Prepare, update, and maintain course materials, including assignments, quizzes, and exams, ensuring accessibility and relevance to students’ learning.
Offer regular office hours to meet with students, address inquiries, and provide academic support.
Design and grade assignments, tests, and exams in a timely and consistent manner, providing meaningful feedback to students.
Collaborate on curriculum development to ensure course content aligns with industry standards and trends.
Use internal software to manage grades, track progress, and update students on course material.
Qualifications
PhD in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and DAX.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and data storytelling.
Proficiency in databases, including SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Prior teaching experience at the post‑secondary level is considered an asset.
Industry experience in data analytics or business intelligence is preferred.

Technical expertise: Experience working with large datasets and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) with proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.

Problem solving: Creative problem‑solving abilities, especially in integrating real‑life case studies and practical examples into the curriculum.
Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and discretion in dealing with colleagues and students.
Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a high‑pressure environment.
