Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and professional Event Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property during a scheduled event in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Event Dates: May 22–23, 2026 The ideal candidate will maintain a robust qualified presence, demonstrate excellent observational skills, and respond effectively to security incidents. This role is essential in maintaining a secure and controlled environment and preventing loss or damage during the event. Responsibilities Monitor event premises through patrols and surveillance to identify potential security threats or safety hazards. Control access points by verifying credentials and managing guest lists to prevent unauthorized entry. Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including providing assistance or contacting emergency services as needed. Conduct thorough inspections of bags, equipment, and attendees when necessary to prevent prohibited items from entering the venue. Maintain a visible security presence to deter misconduct and ensure crowd control. Document incidents accurately in reports and communicate effectively with event staff and law enforcement when required. Requirements Valid Security Guard License. Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, loss prevention, or related security fields is preferred. Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with attendees, staff, and emergency responders. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively. Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform patrols as needed. Must be at least 18 years old.
