APPLY IN PERSON Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage. Duties - Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed - Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security threats - Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities, taking appropriate action as needed - Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations - Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and loss prevention - Assist with access control by verifying identification and managing entry points - Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations - Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards Qualifications - Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred - Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies - Strong observational skills with attention to detail - Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations - Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately - Physical fitness to patrol premises effectively and respond quickly when necessary - Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe environment while developing valuable skills in security operations.
