Quality Manager (Niagara Falls)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join one of our chemical processing industry clients in Niagara Falls, ON region. Pay - $100-$115K Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and food safety programs. - Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, FDA, CFIA, and other regulatory standards. - Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective action processes. - Monitor production quality and investigate non-conformance issues. - Coordinate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Work closely with production, maintenance, and operations teams to improve product quality and process efficiency. - Maintain documentation related to quality procedures, testing, inspections, and compliance records. - Manage customer complaints, product recalls, and quality-related investigations. - Train and mentor employees on quality standards, food safety, and regulatory requirements. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce waste. - Review laboratory testing results and ensure product specifications are met consistently. - Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the facility. Qualifications: - Bachelor s/Master degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biology, , Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field. - Minimum 5+ years of quality management experience in food manufacturing or chemical processing industry. - Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, ISO standards, FDA, and CFIA regulations. - Experience leading audits and managing regulatory compliance programs. - Robust problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. - Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is considered an asset. - Excellent communication and organizational abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
