Quality Manager Niagara Falls

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join one of our chemical processing industry clients in Niagara Falls, ON region. Pay - $100-$115K Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and food safety programs. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, FDA, CFIA, and other regulatory standards. Lead internal and external audits, inspections, and corrective action processes. Monitor production quality and investigate non-conformance issues. Coordinate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with production, maintenance, and operations teams to improve product quality and process efficiency. Maintain documentation related to quality procedures, testing, inspections, and compliance records. Manage customer complaints, product recalls, and quality-related investigations. Train and mentor employees on quality standards, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce waste. Review laboratory testing results and ensure product specifications are met consistently. Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the facility. Qualifications: Bachelor s/Master degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biology, , Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field. Minimum 5+ years of quality management experience in food manufacturing or chemical processing industry. Solid knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, ISO standards, FDA, and CFIA regulations. Experience leading audits and managing regulatory compliance programs. Robust problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies is considered an asset. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
