PM (Afternoon) Cleaner (Niagara Falls)

As the successful candidate your main responsibilities will be: - Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out - Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service - Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift - Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift - Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests - Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day - Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. - Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. - Other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills: - Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy. - Understand simple instructions. - Learn simple procedures and techniques. - Perform routine work or the same task over and over again. Qualifications: - High school diploma required - Housekeeping experience, an asset Physical Demands - Standing/walking for long periods of time - Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
