Grounds Maintenance Manager / Lead (Niagara Falls)

Royal Blue Landscaping is hiring an experienced Grounds Maintenance Manager / Lead to take ownership of our maintenance division. We’re looking for someone who can do more than just mow grass. This role is for a leader who can organize the day, direct the crew, hold quality standards, communicate issues early, and make sure properties are completed properly without constant oversight from the owner. What You’ll Be Responsible For - Leading the grounds maintenance division day to day - Managing mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, cleanups, and seasonal property care - Directing and holding crew members accountable on site - Making sure jobs are completed efficiently and to company standard - Reviewing properties and catching quality issues before leaving site - Communicating equipment, staffing, material, and property issues early - Helping manage schedules, routes, and daily production - Acting as the point person for maintenance operations in the field - Identifying customer concerns and upsell opportunities - Maintaining a professional appearance and protecting client properties - Reinforcing protected work habits and proper equipment use What We’re Looking For - Proven experience in lawn and landscape maintenance - Previous crew lead, foreman, or maintenance manager experience - Strong knowledge of mowing patterns, trimming, edging, cleanup, and property presentation - Ability to lead a team and keep people moving - High standards for quality and attention to detail - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and take ownership - Experience with commercial and/or residential maintenance properties - Valid driver’s licence - Ability to lift, work outdoors, and handle the physical demands of the role What Success Looks Like - The maintenance crew leaves organized and ready - Jobs are completed on time and to standard - Crew members know what to do without confusion - Problems are communicated early, not after the fact - The owner no longer has to oversee daily maintenance operations Why Join Royal Blue Landscaping - Growing landscape company serving the Niagara Region - Mix of residential and commercial properties - Company built around precision and care - Opportunity to step into a true leadership role - Room to grow with the company Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pjk9p
