Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and caring for trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires a robust understanding of horticultural practices, safety procedures. The Arborist will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, health, and beauty of our clients’ outdoor spaces. Duties Tree care: Perform tree care activities, such as pruning, trimming, and removing trees Equipment operation: Operate and maintain bucket trucks, chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment Safety: Ensure that all work is done safely and complies with safety standards Customer service: Ensure that clients receive high-quality service Training: Provide training and mentorship to team members with what experience you have Paperwork: Complete all necessary paperwork, such as time sheets and project notes Qualifications Experience climbing trees and using bucket trucks(manual) Experience with tree care safety standards Knowledge of tree and shrub species Ability to operate chainsaws and other equipment Valid G and AZ driver license. 3+ years of full time climbing experience would be considered an asset Certified Arborist (444A/B or ISA Certification) preferred but not necessary DZ license is not necessary but considered an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour Benefits: Company events Dental care Extended health care In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pmi62
