Are you the kind of person who loves troubleshooting and fixing things, staying busy, and seeing the results of your work right away? We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to help keep our hotel running smoothly, safely, and looking its best. What you will be doing - Handling day-to-day repairs and preventative maintenance (basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting) - Responding to guest and team maintenance requests with a friendly, professional approach - Supporting pool maintenance (testing and recording chemical levels) - Helping with seasonal tasks like snow removal and grounds upkeep - Working with other departments on setups, moving furniture, and general support What we are looking for - At least 2 years of general maintenance experience (hotel experience is a very strong asset) - Confidence with tools and basic repairs across multiple trades - Dependable, safety-minded, and able to prioritise tasks - Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record - Flexibility for shifts including weekends/holidays and occasional urgent calls This is an existing vacancy.
