Nipissing University invites applications for part‑time course instructors for Fall/Winter positions to teach courses in Economics for existing vacancies.
Fall Term September 8, 2026 to December 31, 2026
Hours: Total of 36 instructional hours over 12 weeks
ECON-1006-FA001/002– Introduction to Microeconomics, North Bay
ECON-2136-FA801– Sports Economics, Online Asynchronous Instruction
Winter Term January 11, 2027 to April 30, 2027
Hours: Total of 36 instructional hours over 12 weeks
ECON-3067-WI001– Problems and Policies of Economic Development, North Bay
Qualifications
A PhD in Economics or related field is preferred
An MA or MSc in Economics
Experience teaching at the post‑secondary level considered an asset
Duties
Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University’s policies and procedures
