Description
This is a rare opportunity to be the founding structural engineer at a respected Muskoka design firm — not just joining a department, but building one. Youll work directly alongside a talented principal designer on one-of-a-kind custom homes and waterfront cottages, where your structural decisions are visible, impactful, and genuinely matter to the design. If youre a residential-focused P.Eng who takes pride in doing clean, well-coordinated structural work and wants to own the function rather than be one of many on a large team, this is worth a responsible look.
About the Company A boutique residential design firm specializing in custom cottage and waterfront properties across the Muskoka Lakes region. Known for thoughtful architecture, high attention to detail, and closely coordinated design-build delivery, the firm produces everything from structural documentation to construction support on unique, high-end residential projects.
Role Overview The Structural Engineer will work closely with the firms architectural designers and construction team to develop structural systems for custom residential projects. This position involves producing structural drawings and calculations, reviewing designs for constructibility, and preparing structural pricing and tender sets for estimating and construction.

Produce and coordinate structural drawings using Revit
