Machine Operator in Mining Industry, West Nipissing

Become a Machine Operator for the mining and tunneling industry, focusing on safe operation and efficient production. This full-time role requires mechanical skills and assists in transforming raw materials into finished goods.

In this position, you will support Operators 2 and 3 in manufacturing tasks and operate various machines like pin nut, shear, and auto assemblers. Your responsibilities will include tracking output, ensuring quality, and maintaining cleanliness in the work cell. You may also cross-train with senior staff and help train new hires.

Key Responsibilities:• Operate assigned machinery and track production output • Assist in documenting QA and RP processes • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work cell • Recognize non-conforming products for reporting • Train new employees and support Senior Operator

Requirements:• 1 year of mechanical experience in an industrial setting • Grade 12 education preferred • Ability to read a tape measure and use decimals/fractions • Valid Driver’s License required • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
