Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering services as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices. Stay updated on current culinary trends to enhance menu offerings. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols within the food industry. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
