Assistant Baker North Cowichan

We're looking for an assistant baker that has some experience with pastries and desserts, breads and dough. This candidate should also have a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes. Job Duties Include: Making pizza dough, breads, buns, pastry, pies, cakes, cheesecakes, etc. Preparing batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders Runing baking machinery such as high-volume mixing machines, ovens and other equipment Decorating cakes or other baked goods Ensuring product quality meets established standards Cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment, counters and floors after each shift Delivery of baked goods to restaurant locations Part time/flexible hours available.
