Assistant Operations Manager (Ladysmith)

POSITION: Assistant Operations Manager STARTING WAGE: $30 per hour to start, negotiable for ideal candidate Limberis Seafood Processing Ltd. is looking for a competent, punctual, energetic person who is willing to learn new tasks to fill the Assistant Operations Manager position. This position will involve working in the processing plant and in the office. Ladysmith is located 25 min south of Nanaimo, and 1 hour north of Victoria, and is in close proximity to Nanaimo International Airport and BC Ferries. The town itself is located on the beautiful waters of the Salish Sea, offering all kinds of marine activities to local residents. The jobsite overlooks the waters of Inner Ladysmith Harbour, and would allow for direct launching of kayaks and other small watercraft from the plant. The town is growing, and has all required amenities, such as schools, swimming pool with fitness centre, and all kinds of shops and boutiques. This job is F/T and is permanent. Extended health and dental benefits will be offered to the successful candidate. Cost-of-living raise review will happen annually.
