Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen setting by properly washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality facility, ensuring that all dishware and cookware are sanitized and ready for use. Prior experience in food service or hospitality settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and storage areas Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables Support kitchen staff in maintaining a hygienic and organized work workplace Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Experience Previous experience in cleaning or dishwashing within a restaurant, hotel, or food service setting is preferred but not required Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and basic food preparation is advantageous Experience with food service or hospitality roles demonstrates robust teamwork skills and customer service awareness Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety standards Pay: $17.85 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Language: English (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p21ub
