Assistant Baker (North Cowichan)

We're looking for an assistant baker that has some experience with pastries and desserts, breads and dough. This candidate should also have a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes. Job Duties Include: - Making pizza dough, breads, buns, pastry, pies, cakes, cheesecakes, etc. - Preparing batters for muffins, cookies, cakes, icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders - Runing baking machinery such as high-volume mixing machines, ovens and other equipment - Decorating cakes or other baked goods - Ensuring product quality meets established standards - Cleaning and sanitizing of bakery equipment, counters and floors after each shift - Delivery of baked goods to restaurant locations Part time/flexible hours available.
