Office Reservations &/or Store Clerk (Chemainus)

Country Maples RV Resort is located on Vancouver Island in Chemainus, B.C. This 30-acre property has 185 campsites, which includes full and partial hook ups, along with tenting & group sites. Staff enjoy the park’s perks, including their immediate family members. This position doesn’t require you to live onsite in your own RV, however the option could be available at a significantly reduced rate that includes full hook ups. RESERVATION OFFICE CLERK This is a seasonal part-time – full time position that includes day/evening/weekends from June - October. This position is 25 - 35 hours a week. QUALIFICATIONS: · Positive communication and customer service skills. Preference given to experience in the tourism industry. · Excellent Computer skills: Microsoft Office & Reservation system (training provided) · Detail oriented, filing, and good organizational skills · Bondable & willing to obtain a Criminal Record check · Friendly and approachable · Ability to deal with difficult customer situations and challenges. DUTIES: · POS system, general sales & cash handling, daily balancing of records · Providing visitors’ information in person and answering the phone · Computer reservations; email, and other related office tasks · General cleaning/sanitizing of work areas · Emergencies and other related duties.
