Part Time/Full Time Order Picker (Chemainus)

The Country Grocer Warehouse, known as Island Independent Buying Group (IIBG), is looking for a Part-time and Full- time Warehouse Worker/Order Picker to join our team at our Chemainus Warehouse. Requirements: - Ability to work evenings - Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the warehouse in an industrial area of Chemainus - An ability to count and keep track of numbers - Ability to read and pick orders - Ability to walk and stand on concrete for duration of scheduled 8 hour shift - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Some of what you’ll do: - Pick and pack product orders - Stock warehouse shelves - Maintain accurate inventory - Operate forklifts and pallet jacks - Shifts are 3:30pm-12:00am - Flexible shifts for students Experience: - Warehouse experience an asset - Order picking experience an asset - Forklift/ pallet jack experience an asset Compensation package: Wage: - $1 per hour afternoon shift differential Perks: - $200 personal protective clothing allowance at 3 months - Get paid every Friday - Special Team Member Discount Program- 15% off Groceries at Country Grocer stores - Dependable industry providing essential services to community Disclaimer: We appreciate all applicants for their interest in joining our team.
