Gulf Islands Secondary School School District No. 64 (Gulf Islands) invites applications for the 1.0 FTE continuing position of Vice Principal of Gulf Islands Secondary School commencing August 1, 202 6 , with a minimum salary of $1 4 1, 771 . The school is centrally located on Salt Spring Island and has a projected enrolment of 600 students in grades 8 to 12 . Gulf Islands School District is located in the Salish Sea and is home to five island communities – Salt Spring, Pender, Galiano, Mayne, and Saturna. The Position The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality programs to secondary students, for the operation of the school, and for district-level duties as required. This position requires a high level of energy and an ability to sustain a heavy and varied workload. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work successfully with all partner groups in a collaborative and dynamic basis. Evidence of previous school leadership is required, and experience as a principal or vice-principal is preferred. Documented Qualification Must Include - Valid B.C.
