Overview We operate bright, clean, and well-organized recycling centres across Vancouver Island and Salt Spring Island. Our goal is simple: make recycling a genuinely positive experience so more people choose to do it. Responsibilities - Plan, organise and oversee all daily operations including opening and closing procedures. - Recruit, train and motivate a small team of 2–5 staff members, creating a positive work setting. - Handle cash and bank orders accurately; complete daily reports and administrative paperwork. - Implement company policies and respond to customer inquiries, complaints and issues. - Conduct weekly pick‑ups using a work truck. - Maintain clear communication with owners. Requirements - Valid BC driver's licence in good standing. - Forklift operator certification (training provided). - Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. - Able to walk and stand for an 8‑hour shift. - Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. - Honesty and integrity – non‑negotiable. - 1year management experience (preferred). - English language proficiency.
