Job details - Location 38247 Cleveland Avenue Squamish , BC V8B 0R4 - Work location Hybrid - Salary 350,000 to 550,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 1,680 hours per year - Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time - Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined - Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Experience an asset Hybrid Work must be completed both in person and remotely. Work setting - Clinic Responsibilities - Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals - Examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries - Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits and reshape their approach to wellness - Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment - Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health - Prescribe and administer medications and treatments - Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases - Advise patients on health care - Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues Credentials - College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) - Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities Additional information - Effective interpersonal skills - Flexibility - Team player - Values and ethics - Bonus Other benefits - Variable or compressed work week Who can apply for this job?
