Woodfibre LNG seeks a Project Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering to facilitate the transition from temporary to permanent power systems. The successful candidate will work directly with on-site teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards and managing engineering scopes effectively. Your role will include coordinating with various stakeholders to guarantee that environmental and safety expectations are met throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:• Ensure compliance with WLNG’s HSE protocols • Verify contractor alignment with Environmental Management requirements • Oversee daily activities of engineering teams • Manage contractor invoicing and budget controls • Support safety and emergency response planning

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • 5-10 years in oil and gas or construction industries • Proficiency in NFPE 70E Code&Arc Flash Safety• Residency in or near Squamish preferred • Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport
