Woodfibre LNG Project Engineer - Electrical Systems, Squamish

Take charge of electrical systems as a Project Engineer at Woodfibre LNG in Squamish, British Columbia. This role focuses on overseeing the transition to permanent power systems while maintaining safety and project compliance.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will report to the Site Construction Manager, ensuring that electrical installations meet safety standards and project goals. You will also facilitate communication between various teams to solve technical challenges and manage contractor adherence to environmental permit requirements during construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations • Support environmental management for contractors • Manage the scope of work for engineering consultants • Review technical queries and changes • Assist in technical documentation for procurement

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field • 5-10 years’ experience in oil and gas construction • Familiarity with NFPE 70E Code&Arc Flash Safety• Strong communication and organizational skills • Willingness to adhere to a drug-free workplace
