On-site event staff and tour guides (Whistler)

Do you enjoy events and customer service? We are currently hiring on-site event staff & tour guides for the week of August 28 – September 06, 2026 and future events in Whistler. This is a casual, project-based role with flexible scheduling based on event needs. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless and memorable guest experiences. This could include welcoming event attendees at the airport, acting as a tour guide, accompanying groups on dinners and activities, working Gala events, greeting delegates and providing directions, working the exhibit floor or information desk and much more. Responsibilities - Welcome and assist guests at airports, hotels, and event venues - Provide directions, information, and general support to attendees - Support registration desks, information booths, and exhibit areas - Escort groups to and from venues, activities, tours and dining experiences - Assist with event setup, execution, and teardown - Work closely with Project Managers and vendors to ensure smooth operations - Support transportation logistics and coordination - Assist with guest boarding and maintain accurate headcounts - Ensure vehicles are properly staged and event-ready - (For certified tour guides) Deliver engaging, informative tours of Whistler and surrounding areas Qualifications - Experience in events, hospitality, tourism, or customer service - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Professional, reliable, and customer-focused - Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment - Versatile availability, including evenings and weekends - Reliable transportation to program locations Assets: - Bilingualism (English/French) - Tour Guide certification - Knowledge of Whistler and local attractions If you think this role sounds right for you and you are available during the above mentioned time, please apply directly through Indeed with your resume and cover letter detailing your experience.
