Weekend Brunch Server (Whistler)

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Weekend Brunch Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Weekend Brunch Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm - Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems - Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards - Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales - Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties - Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times - Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed - Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations - Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy brunch hours - Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred - Knowledge of POS systems is a plus - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor - Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours - Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes - Experience with food industry practices including serving, food safety, and sanitation protocols - Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team and enjoy working in a vibrant brunch atmosphere where your hospitality skills can shine!
