Description
We are building advanced robotic systems designed for deployment in demanding real world environments. Our team operates with high ownership, fast execution, and a strong engineering first culture. We are looking for exceptional mechanical or mechatronics engineers who want to work on deeply technical products and help bring complex robotic systems from concept to production. This role requires strong fundamentals, hands on execution, and the ability to solve difficult multidisciplinary engineering problems under aggressive timelines. Responsibilities - Design, prototype, and validate robotic and electromechanical systems - Develop mechanisms, structures, thermal solutions, mounts, and integrated assemblies for robotic platforms - Own hardware from initial concept through production release and field deployment - Work closely with controls, electrical, firmware, software, manufacturing, and operations teams - Perform tolerance analysis, FEA, root-cause investigations, and reliability improvements - Drive rapid prototyping, testing, iteration, and validation efforts - Support pilot deployments and debug issues in real operating environments - Improve manufacturability, serviceability, reliability, and cost of hardware systems - Participate in supplier development and production ramp activities where required Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field - Strong proficiency with CAD and mechanical system design - Experience designing complex electromechanical products - Excellent engineering fundamentals across mechanics, materials, manufacturing, and system integration - Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment - Strong analytical and problem solving capability - Hands-on prototyping and debugging experience Preferred Qualifications - Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, or high performance hardware products - Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms - Familiarity with sensors, actuators, embedded systems, CAN communication, or controls integration - Experience with FEA, GD&T;, DFM/DFA, and reliability engineering - Machining, fabrication, or advanced prototyping experience - Startup or high-growth product development experience What We Value - Engineers who move quickly and take ownership - Strong technical judgment and attention to detail - Bias toward execution and problem solving - Willingness to work across disciplines - Passion for building ambitious hardware products Compensation & Benefits - Competitive salary - High-impact engineering work with direct ownership - Opportunity to help shape next-generation robotic systems Pay: $85,000.00-$125,000.00 per year Advantages - Casual dress - Company events - Employee stock purchase plan - Flexible schedule - On-site gym - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Stock options Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o32pl
