We are looking to hire a Production Line Machine Operator with experience working in a fully cooked food processing plant for our client in the Meat industry located in Oakville. Responsibilities: - The Machine Operator is responsible for operating equipment such as a dumper, Bosche bagger machine, Bradman packaging machine, and/or sauce applicator. - Meeting quality, yield, and efficiency standards while ensuring all work is performed in compliance with GMP, HACCP, CFIA and established safety regulations. - Please only APPLY if you have experience operating the machines mentioned above as candidates without experience will not be accepted. Qualifications: - NO STUDENTS (MUST BE ON VALID WORK PERMIT/CITIZEN/PR) *** - NO APPLIED STATUS *** - MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION *** - MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH CONSISTENTLY*** - Minimum 2–3 years of experience working as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting (food industry preferred) - Must have experience operating Dumper, Bosche bagger machine, Bradman packaging machine and sauce applicator. These will be tested so please ensure you have expierence operating these. - Familiarity with conveyor-based production systems is an asset - Ability to transfer to full-time employment when probabtion period is completed. - Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg / 50 lbs) - The candidates will need to have open availability. Must be able to work all 7 days and work extended hours if needed. *** Work & Sensory Environment: - Must be able to work in both Cold and humid environment (approximately -1°C to 10°C) - Exposure to meat processing environment and noise - Handling cooked chicken products - Fast-paced production line work Shift Timing: - Monday - Friday (must be available to work weekends if needed) - 4:30 PM – 12:00 AM (this is the standard time however candidates must be flexible as shift can start earlier or later and shift can also end earlier or later).
