Production Lead (Oakville)

About the Role Roseland Building Materials is looking for a hands-on Team Lead to support our assembly operation. This is a working leadership role — you will be on the floor alongside the team while helping drive production results and maintain quality standards. You will be responsible for keeping the team on track, organized, and performing to expectations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a future Production Manager position as the company expands. What You’ll Do - Work directly on the assembly line alongside the team - Take ownership of daily production KPIs (output, efficiency, quality) - Keep the team organized, focused, and moving efficiently throughout the day - Maintain and enforce quality standards — no shortcuts - Prepare materials and setup for upcoming production runs - Handle prep work to ensure the next day runs smoothly - Operate saws, forklifts, and other shop equipment as needed - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment - Support and guide team members on processes and expectations What We’re Looking For - Experience in manufacturing or assembly (woodworking is an asset) - Natural leadership — you take initiative and lead by example - Ability to keep a team accountable without formal authority - Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment - Valid forklift certification (required) - Experience operating saws or shop equipment - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Compensation & Benefits - Full-time, stable employment - Employee Benefits Program (after 90 days) - $250 annual workwear allowance (steel-toe boots or approved gear) - Bonus Program: - Quarterly & Annual bonuses based on team and company performance. Bonus is up to 20% of annual compensation based on achieving KPI's. Growth Opportunity This role is designed as a stepping stone into a Production Manager position.
