Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every meal is prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. - Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and equipment. - Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. - Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. - Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. Requirements - Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. - Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff. - A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry.
