Job Overview We are seeking a energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves building strong customer relationships, managing accounts, and driving sales growth within our industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of B2B sales, supply chain processes, and customer relationship management tools. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective account management. Responsibilities - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets across assigned territories or sectors - Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention - Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiations and contract finalization - Utilize data entry systems and CRM tools to track sales activities, customer interactions, and account details - Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate freight arrangements and supply chain logistics for client orders - Conduct inside sales activities via phone or digital channels to generate leads and follow up on potential clients - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities - Collaborate with account management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client support - Use AS400 or similar systems for order processing, inventory checks, and reporting purposes - Assist in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize delivery schedules and service levels Requirements - Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or related roles within supply chain or freight industries preferred - Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively - Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms and data entry procedures - Knowledge of freight logistics, supply chain operations, and 3PL services is advantageous - Experience with sales management tools such as AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels - Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities - Prior experience in inside sales environments is desirable This position offers an engaging environment where your expertise in sales combined with industry knowledge can significantly impact our growth.
