We’re currently seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our collaborative and safety-focused team. This position requires candidates to be able to work in the Courtney Park & Kennedy area of Mississauga for approximately 2.5 months and must have reliable transportation with the ability to transition to our new Oakville facility by the end of June. Position Summary We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate focused primarily on wrapping, strapping, and preparing steel shipments for outbound transportation. This role is critical in supporting one of our major customers, ensuring freight is secured, protected, and shipment-ready in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a quick-paced warehouse environment, and experienced operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts. Responsibilities - Wrap, strap, and prepare outbound shipments safely and accurately - Ensure freight is secured properly for transportation - Inspect materials and shipments for damage or discrepancies - Assist with loading and unloading shipments when required - Operate reach trucks and/or counterbalance forklifts safely - Use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movement - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment - Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies - Support general warehouse operations as needed during the facility transition Qualifications - Previous warehouse experience required - Reach Truck certification required - Counterbalance experience considered an asset - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety - Reliable transportation required - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with wrapping/strapping industrial freight considered an asset Additional Details - Work Location: In-person (Mississauga and Oakville, ON) - Temporary Assignment: Courtney Park & Kennedy region (approximately 2 weeks) - Future Location: 2360 Cornwall Road, Oakville, ON (Starting Mid-June) - Commute/Relocation: Must reliably commute between locations - Language Requirement: French not required - Expected Start Date: ASAP Benefits - On-site parking - Paid time off If you’re ready to join a hardworking logistics team and be part of an exciting transition into our new Oakville facility, we’d love to hear from you!
