Tasks: - Providing contact lens application & removal training for patients - Taking accurate measurements for single vision, progressive and bi-focal lenses - Dispensing eyeglasses, contact lenses and dry eye products accurately and maintaining our online store - Meeting with patients to discuss their vision care needs and helping to select frames and lenses that best fit their lifestyle - Pre-testing patients for speciality contact lens clinic and dry eye clinic - Skilled at providing calm, step-by-step instruction to children during contact lens teaches and diagnostic testing - Adjusting and repairing frames - Processing payments, answering phones, and responding to inquiries via email - Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquires and complaints to appropriate staff members - Following up with patients to ensure their inquiry or complaint has been satisfactorily resolved - Assist with checkout for optometry patients - Assisting in booking patients for Optometrists - Perform other related duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.
