Description
A Snapshot of Your Day You will work with a team you help direct and lead to sell technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customers. You will act as the technical interface between customers and the company’s engineering, manufacturing, and program management representatives. Responsibilities - Research customer technical specifications and requirements and compare them to company product capabilities. - Prepare and conduct technical sales briefings for customers and internal representatives. - Develop potential technical specifications, pricing considerations, and contract requirements. - Prepare sales forecasts and investigate current applications or improvements to products with customers. - Coordinate front‑sales and inside‑sales activities to achieve order‑intake and profitability targets in line with annual KPIs. - Lead a regional team of four Bid/Business Development managers; mentor, coach, and support daily operations. - Distribute opportunities across team members to maintain manageable workloads while meeting market demands and response quality. - Report order‑intake projections and strategies to senior management, ensuring targets remain on track amidst market fluctuations. - Review and support contract negotiations to conclude agreements in a timely manner following company contractual strategy. - Maintain constructive relationships with key factory stakeholders to secure future projects. - Develop and refine offer strategies to improve success rates of opportunities based on past results and mandates. - Oversee order execution by global factories, ensuring revenue and cash inflows meet regional targets. - Lead a team of four Project Managers; mentor, coach, and support daily operations. - Identify and manage revenue‑plan opportunities aligned with management requirements. - Serve as the escalation point for customer claims and requests prior to senior management. - Maintain positive factory relationships to support future projects in the NA market. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical. - Experience in the Electrical Equipment industry; excellent interpersonal and technical skills may substitute experience. - Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to read customer position during negotiations. - Ability to collaborate with customers and factory teams to secure business. - Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored work authorization. Pay Transparency Base salary range: $84,000 to $120,000. Compensation is determined by experience, skills, and business needs.
