Machinist
for one of its valued manufacturing partners.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating manual grinding equipment while also supporting various machining and finishing operations in a cross‑trained production environment. You will help produce high‑quality machined components while ensuring work meets engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Machinist Responsibilities
Operate manual cylindrical grinding equipment to finish precision machined components
Support machining operations including manual and CNC equipment as required
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and verniers
Deburr, sand, and polish parts to meet quality standards and production requirements
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure dimensional accuracy throughout the machining process
Perform basic machine maintenance, coolant checks, and daily equipment cleaning
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Machinist Qualifications
2–5 years of machining or grinding experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating manual grinding equipment or cylindrical grinders preferred
Experience working with manual or CNC machining equipment considered an asset
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Experience working with precision measuring instruments and maintaining tight tolerances
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machining tools, fixtures, and shop equipment
Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
