In this role, you will:
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Support the Project Management team in evaluating vendor proposals, progressing designs, completing the project framework documents, support RFP's, scheduling, cost control, change management, contractor management, construction execution, and commissioning
Managing projects at different stages, including scoping, feasibility, execution and completion
Work within multi-disciplinary professional teams, supporting projects including but not limited to major building renovation, and replacement of underground waterlines
Seek ways to improve our process by collaborating with the engineering team, operations and consultants on new process development, quality assurance initiatives, day-to-day troubleshooting, and evaluation test work
Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Requirements:
Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Civil, Projects Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a passion for project-based work
Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel
Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and a solid understanding of AutoCAD and Solidworks would be advantageous
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references
