Lead the delivery of an unforgettable culinary experience for guests Provide leadership, development, and motivation to the team to ensure the guest experience is always paramount through consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverages Oversee all day-to-day and event activity to ensure proper planning and execution Ensure all fixed assets are in good working condition, and oversee preventative maintenance of assets Develop and maintain food quality control, profit and loss controls, inventory levels, and labour and product cost monitoring Accountable for the development of sales budgets and responsible for the successful execution of these budgets Responsible for generating growth and restaurant sales and transactions (guest counts) Ensure that requirements for appropriate sanitation and food safety levels in respective areas are met Identify root causes of gaps in guest satisfaction and assist in the development of corrective and proactive action plans where appropriate Oversee the development of short and long-term financial and operational plans Requirements An inspiring leader who has proven skills rallying a team to achieve its highest potential and then driving it to the next level Minimum 8 years of experience in the food and beverage industry with 5 years of experience in a management role in the food and beverage industry in a similar environment Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Proven record of effective conflict resolution and service recovery Acute financial management skills Effective verbal and written English communication skills Robust interpersonal with the ability to establishing cooperative working relationships Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on guest service Level 1 and Level 2 Food Safe Certification - Serving It Right License Excellent professional presentation Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e. mobility, standing, walking, lifting for the majority of the day) It is essential to have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays Corporate Culture A competitive salary reflective of your experience and leadership Extended medical and dental benefits Dining privileges and incentives A collaborative, supportive culture within a nationally recognized hospitality group The chance to live and work in one of the most beautiful resort destinations in the world If you’re ready to lead with passion, elevate every interaction, and contribute to a legacy of excellence, this is your opportunity to join an elite team at one of Whistler’s most celebrated restaurants.
