Learning Coach Role Learning coaches are teachers who are knowledgeable about inclusive education and are skilled at facilitating teacher collaboration, strengthening inclusive learning, building capacity and expertise in design, instruction and assessment practices of teachers in support of all learners. A more comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities will be provided during the recruitment process. The Candidate As a member of a highly motivated team and student-centered educator, you are prepared to collaborate with colleagues in a Skilled Learning Community. Your teaching practice includes the ability to design and plan learning activities that transfer, and develop thinking competencies. Further, your practice assesses individual student variables to inform the design of meaningful and experiential learning opportunities and effective assessment practice. Your ability to foster effective professional relationships with students, families, staff and community is critical. You demonstrate a willingness to engage in extra‑curricular activities and support students in the whole school experience that characterizes effective schools. Your capacity to integrate technologies and support experiential learning that connects students to community resources within Maker‑centered learning, CTF and CTS learning environments is evident.
