Front Desk Agent - Full-Time Year-Round (Fernie)

Join our Hotel Operations team as a Front Desk Agent for Lizard Creek Lodge & Slopeside Lodge. This is a front desk, guest facing position where you will ensure the first line of contact with our guests is running smoothly. Expectations & Responsibilities : complete hotel reservations, maintain current bookings and enforce cancellation policies complete guest check-ins, room reservation modifications, and guest check-outs coordinate with the maintenance and housekeeping team to ensure guest inquiries are handled in timely fashion sell lift tickets, ski/board repair packages, snow lessons, dinner reservations, spa appointments, and any other hotel or ski packages as needed by the business and/or guests know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook be trained in, know and follow all secure work procedures included in the Safety Management Program complete other fair and reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotels Qualifications: Physically fit and able to perform somewhat demanding work Comfortable working at a desk for multiple hours at a time Experience working in hotels and hospitality is an asset (training provided) Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to safety and following procedures Conditions: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands and arms Some moderate lifting We offer: $20.00 per hour as per Collective Agreement Mountain access perks: Staff receive an Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2odapx
