About the Role We are looking for a sharp, organized professional who enjoys wearing two hats. You’ll be the "financial anchor" of our team—ensuring our books are spotless—while also keeping the office gears turning smoothly through high-level administrative support. This is a perfect role for someone who loves numbers but also enjoys variety in their workday. Key Responsibilities Financial Control (60%): - Full Cycle Accounting: Manage AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations. - Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements and budget-to-actual reports. - Compliance: Oversee tax filings, GST/HST remittances, and year-end audit prep. - Strategy: Monitor cash flow and provide insights to improve financial health. Administrative Support (40%): - Office Operations: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and office supplies. - Executive Support: Coordinate schedules, travel, and occasional meeting minutes. - Process Improvement: Identify ways to streamline digital filing and administrative workflows. What You Bring - Experience: 3+ years in a senior bookkeeping or financial controller role. - Tech Savvy: Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. - Reliability: You are highly detail-oriented and never miss a deadline. - Communication: You can explain financial data to non-financial team members clearly and kindly. - Education: A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
