Front Desk Supervisor - Union Job Posting
monitorweekly payroll and send weekly payroll update to manager for review, discussionand action
review theschedule and ensure staff adhere to it. Inform and discuss with manager as neededany changes, lateness, missed shifts
responsiblefor training new front desk&night audit staff
be thepoint person for receiving guest complaints and feedback, and dealing difficultguests. Escalate to the manager as needed
assist inthe training of porter and concierge staff
take partin daily crew talks and operations meetings
beavailable to receive and help monitor employee issues&concerns
completehotel reservations, maintain current bookings and enforce cancellation policies
completeguest check-ins, room reservation modifications, and guest check-outs
coordinatewith the maintenance and housekeeping team to ensure guest inquiries arehandled in timely fashion
respond toguest communications via phone or online
assist inroom checks once housekeeping has finished (Porter Primary)
sell lifttickets, ski/board repair packages, snow lessons, dinner reservations, spaappointments, and any other hotel or ski packages as needed by the businessand/or guests (Concierge Primary)
performstart and end of day procedures
produceand distribute the morning housekeeping report out of our central reservationsystem (Housekeeping Supervisor Primary)
producereports as required for housekeeping and maintenance out of central reservationsystem and other systems (Housekeeping&Maintenance Supervisor Primary)
keep thefront desk area clean of debris and clutter to be in safe working order
run roommaster reports and end of night audit
countfloat, print Moneris reports, and balance cash outs
createwelcome packs for guests
respond torequests on Akia
takepayments from OTAs, Inntopia, and central reservation
completepre-arrival calls for guests checking in
call localcab companies or shuttles to assist guests getting a ride (Porter Primary)
valet skiequipment in winter and assist with access to ski lockers (seasonal) (PorterPrimary)
take skisfrom front desk to ski valet as needed (Porter Primary)
know andadhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of theCanadian Rockies Employee Handbook
Be trainedin, know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety ManagementProgram
completeother fair and reasonable tasks as requested by management to ensure the smoothoperation of the hotels
