Job Description Be a part of our team as a Server at the timeless Rundle Bar. Our dynamic approach to service ensures each guest receives personalized attention, making every meal memorable. This role focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality in a vibrant restaurant setting.
Starting Rate: $17.22 per hour. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $18.22.
Candidates must be able to start by June 23 and commit until November 7. Full‑time permanent opportunities are also available and can be discussed during the interview.
Job Duties
Complete daily operations (e.g., opening and closing duties, stocking, polishing, cleaning, and maintaining walk‑ins, fridges, and other areas assigned by the MOD)
Meet and greet guests and coordinate with other colleagues and the MOD regarding preferences, allergies, and special occasions
Have full knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods
Maintain quality and timeliness of service and practice effective upselling and suggestive selling techniques to drive outlet revenue
Maintain accurate billing, cash handling, and float procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have Pro‑Serve Certification
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Server in a high‑volume and fast‑paced environment required
Previous point‑of‑sale system experience required
Extensive wine, beer and cocktail knowledge is essential
Must be able to carry and serve 3 plates at one time
Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40+ lbs and be on your feet for 8 hours or more
