Job Description As the Assistant Colleague Services Manager at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, you will support the daily experience of up to 900 residents. This community-focused role supports housing services, lifestyle programs, and team operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment. With strong leadership and organizational skills, you’ll help deliver on our mission: to provide the best possible living experience for all residents.

Job Duties Include
Deliver excellent, thoughtful, and emotionally intelligent service to staff and residents
Supervise, lead, and train a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
Demonstrate a hands‑on leadership style with a willingness to learn all agent tasks; confidently train team members and perform all duties required to achieve guest service goals
Assist with the employee arrival experience, ensuring each new resident is provided with clean, well‑maintained, and fully prepared housing
Communicate, administer, and enforce policies and procedures outlined in the Colleague Housing Handbook and lease agreements
Oversee daily housing operations, including assigning duties, managing the housing inbox, liaising with employees and residents, conducting daily briefings, and inspecting completed work
Collaborate with Human Resources, Security, and Executive teams to maintain effective communication regarding resident relations and ensure appropriate support is provided
Support departmental administration, including lease agreements/renewals, rent payments, employee and resident documentation, health and safety programs, uniform distribution, payroll coordination, waitlist management, unit assignments, mail processing, and resident services
Work with the leadership team to achieve annual departmental goals, including developing and implementing action plans based on Employee Engagement and Colleague Services Survey results
Manage inventory and order supplies as required
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and sustainability initiatives
Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned, including small projects such as suite, recreation, and common area renovations, as well as supporting new colleagues’ Housing Orientation
Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Must be able to comfortably lead, inspire, and performance manage a team of 15+ employees
Highly empathetic, with strong conflict resolution skills
Previous experience in a supervisory or other leadership role required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications required
Valid class 5 license required
Previous customer service, administration and housekeeping experience an asset
Prior experience in administration of property management or maintenance software an asset
Understanding of property maintenance and preventative maintenance an asset
Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Occasional physically demanding duties in residence and outdoors: encompassing standing, walking, bending&lifting (25kg)
